Secret Graces reading tomorrow and...do your characters chew gum?

First of all tomorrow is the day!  Come back to see Kathryn Magendie do a live reading from her new book Secret Graces due out in April!!   I'm so excited!  Well, if I can figure out how to put the video on here, I'll be excited.  LOL!

What kind of personality traits make your characters stand out and feel real?  Do they lose it if they can't find their cell phone?  Do they hate potatoes but love broccoli?  Do they leave post its everywhere, live by a planner, or do they just wing it?  Do they have to have everything in their favorite color?   **ummmm.....that would be me...**

Are they a dog person?  Cat person?  Fish person?  Outdoors/indoors...do you have a high maintenance woman with 45 pairs of shoes or someone with 5 baseball caps to put her ponytail up in?  Does she keep a hair band on her wrist like a bracelet?  Do they recycle?

Quirks make our characters breathe, and without that, it's just words on a page.  What type of quirky funny things define your characters?

You know, I didn't realize she'd still be doing it as an adult until SG, but Virginia Kate takes things from people and keeps them - not stealing, not anything of value- but she takes thing: an empty perfume bottle, a shirt, a comb, a shaving brush, etc.... :)
